EufyCam S4 Announcement: Eufy unveiled its advanced outdoor surveillance camera, the EufyCam S4, at IFA in Germany.

Triple-Lens Technology: This security camera features triple-lens technology to provide effective home monitoring. The camera includes a fixed 4K wide-angle lens, in addition to two 2K sensors that automatically activate to track any suspicious movement.

Intelligent Person Tracking: The main camera, equipped with pan, tilt, and zoom (PTZ) functionality, allows for tracking individuals up to 164 feet. It also features intelligent zooming out to keep groups within the field of view.

Comprehensive 360-Degree Coverage: The fixed wide-angle lens offers a 130-degree field of view, while the pan, tilt, and zoom lens provides 360-degree coverage, ensuring comprehensive and hard-to-evade surveillance.

Advanced Detection Technologies and HomeBase S380 Integration

Dual Motion Detection System: The EufyCam S4 camera incorporates an advanced dual motion detection system, integrating radar and passive infrared (PIR) technologies.

Reduced False Alarms: This combination accurately distinguishes between humans and vehicles, effectively reducing false alarms. Upon detecting any intruder, the camera activates red and blue warning lights, along with a powerful siren to deter them.

HomeBase S380 Integration: The camera can be connected to the Eufy HomeBase S380, which is sold as a separate accessory.

BionicMind AI: The HomeBase S380 is a smart security hub based on BionicMind AI technology, which the company claims provides up to 99.9% accuracy in facial recognition, in addition to offering expandable local storage capacity of up to 16 TB.

BionicMind AI Features and Operational Autonomy

Distinguishing Individuals: BionicMind technology enables distinguishing between family members and strangers thanks to its advanced facial recognition capabilities.

Learning Suspicious Behaviors: It is also capable of recognizing human shapes, body postures, different types of objects and vehicles, and even learning suspicious human behaviors, providing a smarter and more personalized security system.

Integrated Solar Power: To ensure continuous operation, the EufyCam S4 comes with a detachable 5.5W integrated solar panel. This panel can fully charge the camera within just one hour of direct sunlight exposure. The detachable design offers flexibility in positioning the panel for optimal solar energy collection, and the camera also includes a rechargeable battery to ensure continuous performance without relying entirely on solar power.

Price and Availability: The EufyCam S4 camera is expected to be available for $300 later this year, with bundles also available including multiple cameras and a HomeBase S380 unit.
