Massive Funding: Simular, a company specializing in the development of innovative AI agents for Mac OS and Windows operating systems, announced the completion of a Series A funding round valued at $21.5 million. This round was led by Felicis Ventures, with strong participation from existing investors such as NVentures (NVIDIA's investment arm) and South Park Commons, along with other prominent investors.

Simular's Uniqueness in Empowering AI Agents

Full Control: Simular distinguishes itself by focusing on enabling AI agents to control the entire computer system, rather than limiting their operation to a browser environment. Agentic AI refers to systems capable of accomplishing complex tasks independently, reducing the need for human intervention.

Ang Li, co-founder and CEO of the company, explained that their agent possesses the ability to simulate human interaction with the computer, such as moving the mouse cursor and clicking, which allows it to efficiently replicate routine digital activities like copying and pasting data in spreadsheets.
